SLM has been a landmark in Bexhill since 1983 and to mark 25 years of serving the local community they're pleased to announce an exciting redevelopment of their site.
This redevelopment will enable them to accommodate a far greater selection of quality cars and commercials, and improve the service offered to their present and future customers.
The main aim of the redevelopment is to make the site a more ergonomically designed space for customers to enjoy and to enable SLM to expand and maintain the continuing excellent service that they provide to the local area.
Work will be carried out in three phases. Already complete, phase one involved creating a new service reception and sales office. Currently underway, phase two involves the demolition of the original parts department, opening this area up for the display of their vast stock of quality used cars. Once phase two is complete, work will start on phase three which will entail the removal of the entire showroom to further expand the space available for the display of used cars. This will just leave the original workshop to receive a full facelift and will see the installation of new state-of-the-art equipment to allow SLM to continue offering top quality all makes servicing and MOTs.
Once the redevelopment is complete SLM will be able to display up to 80 quality used cars. This will keep their dedicated team of buyers busy hand-selecting vehicles as any car that makes it onto the forecourt at SLM must previously have had its low mileage verified and have been HPi checked. And if they dont have what youre looking for they can draw from a wide range of carefully selected quality used cars from across the South-East.
But dont be put off by the builders
SLM will continue to offer the same excellent service during the refurbishment. The fully operational service and MOT centre can still cater for all your aftersales needs. They can carry out work either on a while-you-wait basis or alternatively they offer a local collection and delivery service so whether you would prefer to go to them or have them come to you, they have an option to suit.
